If you've been following G-Unique Designs for a while, you may have noticed that things look a little different around here. And you might be wondering...

What's Inspired Growth Hub?

Where does G-Unique fit now?

And has something changed?

The short answer is: yes — but not in the way you might think.

G-Unique Designs isn't going anywhere. In fact, it's still very much at the heart of what I create. But over the last 16 years, I've realised that the things I've been creating have been about more than the finished piece.

For me, it's been about creativity, connection, identity and the stories that come with it.

A piece of jewellery might begin with a bunch of beads, a piece of glass, a crystal or just an idea.

But what makes it meaningful is often everything around it: where it was made (St Helena of course!), the person who chooses it, the person who receives it, what it reminds them of, the story behind it, or simply the feeling it gives them.

And over the years, my outlook on life evolved as I grew (not just older!) and I realised that there was another part of my work that wanted a little more room to breathe. The part that also bridges the other side of what I'm trained in and love to do (my counselling & helping others).

That's where Inspired Growth Hub comes in.

Two spaces, one creative heart

So I've come to see G-Unique Designs and Inspired Growth Hub as two different spaces within the same creative home.

G-Unique Designs

This is the tangible, creative and proudly St Helenian side of what I do. It's where you'll find handmade jewellery, meaningful gifts, creative pieces, St Helena-inspired designs and the stories behind them.

It's about making things that can be held, worn, given and remembered.

G-Unique has always been about celebrating creativity, connection, St Helena — and that will continue. 16 years and counting :)

Inspired Growth Hub

Inspired Growth Hub explores some of those same ideas from a different perspective.

Instead of creating something you can hold in your hands, it's about creating spaces and experiences that can help you reconnect with yourself, your creativity and the life you're creating.

It's a place for reflection, creativity, growth, intentional living and meaningful transformation.

There might be workshops, circles, courses, conversations, resources and experiences.

Some will be gentle invitations to pause. Some might encourage you to look at something differently. Some may simply give you space to reconnect with a part of yourself that has been waiting for your attention.

It's not about becoming someone completely different. It's about creating space to explore who you already are, who you're becoming and what might be possible. Isn't that quite exciting?!

So, where do you fit?

Perhaps you've been following G-Unique because you love jewellery. If so, you're still very much in the right place.

Perhaps you have a connection to St Helena, or simply love discovering things that are inspired by this little island in the South Atlantic - You're still in the right place.

Perhaps you love beautiful, meaningful, handmade things and enjoy knowing the story behind them - you're definitely still in the right place.

And perhaps you're curious about exploring a little more of yourself, your creativity, your possibilities or the way you're experiencing your life.

There's now a place for that too.

You don't have to choose one or the other. You might wander into G-Unique through a piece of jewellery and discover Inspired Growth Hub later.

Or you might arrive through an IGH workshop and find yourself drawn to something handmade from St Helena.

Or you might simply enjoy one part of what I create and never need the other.

All of that is okay. It's about giving everything I've been creating a little more room to grow.

A new chapter, rather than a new beginning

In 2020, I left St Helena with my family as a family of three. In 2024, I returned as a family of four. A lot can happen in four years. And it certainly did! People change. Families grow. Businesses evolve.

Our ideas about who we are and what we want can change too.

Looking back, I can see that my own journey has always involved creating and recreating — businesses, jewellery, opportunities, experiences and, perhaps most importantly, a life that feels very much uniquely mine.

So this new website isn't really a beginning. It's another chapter. A place where the different threads of my work can sit alongside each other.

A place for creativity and connection. A place for making and meaning. A place for St Helena and possibility.

A place for the things we can create with our hands…and the things we can create with our lives.

So, welcome.
